Trishaw Volunteers Brave the Cold.
Whilst we wait for the advent of Spring when it will be warm enough to take people out for rides in the trishaws, our lovely volunteers have been busy learning how to pilot them and how to help people in and out of them safely.
Our training has been supported by Carling and Marston’s Made Local Fund and on a chilly but dry day in January, we were out in the park with Hugo and Jerome from @Semble, who were making a video to show the funders what their money had helped achieve.
Jerome had fun pretending to be a Tour de France cameraman, filming from on the back of the bike.! We’re looking forward to seeing the final product.
Staff and volunteers will also be undergoing Manual Handling and First Aid training, so passengers can rest assured that they will be in safe and capable hands.
